Security Solution Transmitters

SFT are high quality data modem modules designed to connect special surveillance equipment, alarm and other data systems via optic network.

Modules available offer standard and most important protocols made. Link, module and communication status is included in all models. Power supplying is external and provided via connected device. Type and range of optic connection depends on costumer needs. See all models for details.

SFT group of products are one channel optical modems with RS232, RS422 or RS485 interface. Modules allow two external data devices to be connected via optic cable connection in HALF or FULL DUPLEX mode depends on the protocol implemented in those devices.

Note: SFT-xx family of products is intended for integration in low-cost systems, as representing the generation of reliable devices to transfer data in the most economical version. Consequently, allowing the construction of optical systems, where previously this was not economically feasible. Due to their small size (DIN / card implementation), they can be quickly and easily installed anywhere.

Note: Optic connection usage offers higher reliability, stability and security level in data transmission than other types of connection. Optics is more secure to burglars and thieves. It can not be bugged or controlled by non authorized persons.



FOM3x is a series of converters and/or data concentrators for serial communications, using different transmission media for communication transfer and exchange. FOM3x is designed to support the following transmission media: MM fiber, POF fiber and SM fiber as well as the following standard communications protocols: RS232, RS485, RS422 and Ethernet. FOM3x series modules utilise automatic adjustment of optical wavelength and optical power, enabling a transparent transfer from one optic medium to another and, consequentially, removing the need for user intervention in adjusting the communication rate. The device supports three most common types of optical media: multi mode (MM), single mode (SM) and plastic (POF) fiber. The multi-mode connection uses ST connectors, the single-mode fibers use SC-BIDI connectors and plastic POF fibers use POF connectors. It is also worth mentioning that the integrated SC-BIDI connector on a single-mode fiber also enables the connection of a multi-mode fiber. The FOM3x models are manufactured in two versions. The first variant is modular (FOM3xMU) and housed in a case ready for installation to a DIN rail. The second, multi-channel FOM3xMR8 variant in a 19″ case is ready for intallation into standard 19″ communication cabinets. Both variants are equipped with LED indication of status for each communication path and power supply to device.
